Bahku looked over the side of the lake's edge as he gave of a sigh, and quickly took a step back in recoil. He had come to Woarth in an attempt to try and remember what had happened long ago at the crashing of his ship, and what had happened with his friends. However, he had chickened out in the end, and was now standing at a pier ins silence, his eyes scanning the body of water. He had let his monster Terivan, his Kalma, who was swimming around lazily, though it was looking for a foe, nevertheless. Bahku through a rock into the water, watching it splash around the surface a few times before sinking, becoming one with the lake.
"Am I really that much of a chicken?", Bahku said to himself as the Cainos let out another sigh, and began to head back, returning his Kalma.

A thundering footstep created a small ripple in the water. A cracking sound like twig breaking echoed through the air. As if to end this climax, Stomper the Mobuo waddled out from behind a tree, waving to Bahku and his own pet. His feet suddenly started to vibrate, and he went into a sort of smug, alert attitude. He sidestepped out from infront of who he had found.
So quick some creatures couldn't avoid the splinters, Conatus smashed through the tree, letting the bark and wood fall down. He slammed his foot onto part of the trunk, crushing it. His large body stretched upward as his rusty hinges creaked and groaned. He was tired, and not thinking as clearly as he normally did. His eyes had turned to a dull, pale red.
He had traveled for days here, thinking that if he were to find anybody willing to join or ally him with a criminal past, they would be here. And it looked like he was not wrong. "You." He raised one fat finger at Bahku. "I have questions for you." His metal body never wavered.
((NOT GREAT. But I'm using an alien comp...with Windows 98 and a broke space bar))

One minute he was alone, the next he was ducking from splinters flying everywhere. Bahku almost fell over into the water as he watched splinters fly everywhere, and a gigantic, killer robot-like thing came out of nowhere, smashing a tree trunk in its wake. he watched with interest as it came towards him, its eyes pale and red, and a Mobuo was waving at him, though it seem like it was at attention. However, soon enough, his concentration on the thing was soon bypassed as the robot began to talk to him, and said he had questions for him.
"Uh.....yeah sure, but who the hell are you?", Bahku said innocently, not the least bit afraid. He's seen scarier things now a days.

Conatus stared down at the organic before him, attempting to kneel down to his height. He dare question hom back? Conatus wiped splinters off of his knuckles as his eyes flashed suddenly. His feet made tiny craters in the ground. The large robot's fierce demeanor dimmed as he realized that acting tough may not help him in his interrogation. "I'm MARK Barcode 1879. Or 1987. I do not remember. Are you ready to answer me now?" Conatus spoke in an emotionless voice. This conversation would drag on a bit.

Bahku just stared as the robot thing wiped off its knuckles of splinters, and got near his face as it began to talk again. Apparently, it didn't know its name, but then again, it seemed to think it was 1987. Alright. So, without further ado, Bahku quickly straightened himself as he stood up, and got himself in a comfortable position as he talked, wondering what this guy wanted.
"Uh, yeah sure, what is it?", he asked blankly, wondering what this guy even wanted....if it was a guy.

"I'm looking for a terrorist group. Any terrorist group. Even robbers. I...uh...need to meet with one." The giant robot got slightly closer to Bahku, hunching down even more and bunching up his fists. Conatus wasn't one for being subtle. He needed direction, and this guy was going to give him what he needed or he'd keep asking un-gloved. Stomper waltzed over, whistling. He'd seen his master's tactics for a while now, and recognized this as the 'tense, answering stage where the victim either runs or says what Coney wants to hear'

Bahku simply watched as 1987 got closer, and he couldn't help but get a little tense. After all, this thing was somewhat intimidating, and it caused the Cainos' instincts of fighting to perk up. nevertheless, he waited patiently as the question was laid out, and he couldn't help but wonder why this guy wished to speak to some terrorist group or robbers.
"Hm, really, I have no idea where to find one, though then again, I could be able to help you.", Bahku said calmly, as he gave a slight grin.

Conatus went into a relaxed form. His arms fell to his sides, and his body went as straight as possible. His one front eye kept glaring down at Bahku as he spoke. Help? Conatus contemplated what 'help' could mean. realizing he may have found his first step to what he wanted, Conatus nodded his head, gentle opera music being picked up by his antennae. "Help me? I could use your help. Maybe I'll start my own group. Or you could just help me find another gang." It was less of an answer and more of a thought out loud.

Bahku simply watched as the 1987 got into a relaxed position, and he simply got relaxed as well, sitting down as he stretched his legs and scratched his belly. However, his concentration was soon taken by the robot, and he simply grinned as he began to talk once more.
"Really, I have nothing else to do, but I'm not one for taking orders, so remember that.", he said with a grin, and stood up as he walked over to the water's edge.
As such, he quickly returned his swimming monster with a flash, and walked back to the robot as he sat back down. However, his belly began to rumble shortly after, causing Bahku to smile sheepishly as he got up once more.
"So yeah, I'll help you if you want, so I'm game."

Conatus turned his head slightly. The creature had no fear of him. Which was good. It also didn't want to take orders. Which may change. "....Fine. I don't demand much of you. Don't demand much of me." The Robot's antennae suddenly flashed a hot silver, and his right-handed eyeball snapped to Bahku's stomach. So this is what happens when organics get hungry... Taking this opportunity to seal the deal symbolically, Conatus bent a tree down to the ground, grabbed a large fruit, and tossed it to Bahku. The tree snapped back, breaking in half from the force. Nearby, Stomper wondered why Conatus never fed him like that.

Bahku simply watched as 1987 talked, and he decided that agreement was good on his terms. So it was somewhat of a shock as the bot began to shake a tree, and tossed him a fruit. Sure, the tree had died for his own purpose, but that wasn't new. Anyways, the Cainos gave a courtesy nod before biting into it, and he glanced up at the fighting machine with a little awe. It was still pretty damn cool, you know, being a robot and all.
"So.....where to now?", Bahku said as he continued to eat the fruit rather quickly.

Conatus looked upward, gazing at the starless night sky. In reality, he hadn't thought of it. A news broadcast reached his ears, making his hands shiver at the vibration of his antennae. "...There's been rioting in Cheshira. We may find something of use there. Or something better. Have you been there before?" Conatus looked down at his newfound partner. It was a little strange, he had to admit. He usually didn't need help with anything, but now that he had someone to ask, he felt an obligation to exercise his questions.

Bahku began to think, as he had been to quite few places. Chesira....nope. He simply shook his head slowly, and with two more quick bite, finished the fruit rather quickly. The Cainos let out a long sigh as he stood up and rubbed his belly quickly, and then stretched as he got ready to leave. Making sure he had everything, he gave a nod towards his new companion before speaking quickly and excitedly.
"Nope, but let's go, as I'm just itching for a fight!"

Conatus grunted at his new partner's sense of enthusiasm. He himself wasn't so much as PUMPED as he was anxious. He didn't plan on being a stick in the mud, though. If conflict aroused, he would smash somebody to a pulp with his bare hands. The giant robot looked to his sides before pointing in front of him. "...I think the portal's that way. This side of the planet doesn't have a space ship port." Not waiting for a response, he started stomping off in that direction.

Bahku simply watched as the robot directed his attention towards the portal, and as he quickly walked off, the Cainos let out a weary sigh. He would have to teach this guy how to get excited....or perhaps show emotions, maybe? With that thought, he let out a quick bark as he began to run towards his new acquaintance, his tail swishing behind him rather quickly. A new adventure comes to his grasp, but lets see how he gets through this one.
