Devil's Mountain Though it was once considered holy ground for monks and other members of a long-gone faith, Devil's Mountain gained a tarnished reputation and a dire-sounding name through countless attempts made to "tame" it, all of which ended in failure. Taking the facts about Devil's Mountain out of context, it's hard to see what sets it apart from any other mountain. The monsters aren't notably ferocious, it's not a volcano of any sort, its weather is rarely anything different than a light snow, and there haven't been any records of Kylian inhabitants that attack any who trespass. However, nobody has ever successfully climbed Devil's Mountain all the same. Teams of veteran climbers tried and ended up falling down a crumbling cliff, or they might have been buried alive by an avalanche. No matter what, each debacle is caused by nature; more specifically, it seems to be caused by the mountain itself. As long as you don't go too high, Devil's Mountain is usually safe and is a fairly nice spot to search for monsters or maybe even abandoned belongings from the doomed climbers.
